How to find out the coefficient of stretch of knitwear

1. We measure a 10 cm segment perpendicular to the threads of the base on the material.
2. Next, we stretch the segment to a comfortable state. That is, the material should not deform after stretching. We stretch so that we feel comfortable on the body when we sew the product. We measure the length of the new segment. For example, 12 cm.
3. We divide 10 cm by 12 cm and get the stretch coefficient of the knitwear of 0.83. The more the material stretches, the smaller the number we will get.
