Recommended materials

For sewing a shirt dress, it is better to use thin, soft, opaque shirting and dress fabrics that drape well. The composition includes thin cotton, Tencel or viscose. Linen or dense shirting fabric will look like an oversized model.

If you want a loose silhouette, but not oversized, it is better to take the pattern one size smaller.
