Necessary materials:

• Elastic knitwear 1.6*1.5 (may be enough for a top)
• Adhesive tape 3.2-3.6 m
• Matching threads
• Stretch needle 65/9 or 70/11
• Double stretch needle 65/9 or 70/11 (4 mm)
• Teflon foot if you are using slippery fabric.

*Recommended fabrics:

Cotton knitwear with elasticity 15-20% (density 230–260 g/m2), jersey, ponti di roma, “butter” knitwear, peasant. All of these options stretch well, have a pleasant drape and sufficient density.

WARNING: For white, it is not recommended to use viscose knitwear with a density of 228 g/m2, as it may be transparent. In dark colors (especially black), this fabric works great and has no issues with transparency.
