   Importantly with a height above 170 cm  check the length of the pants, because the patterns include a standard one. To do this, on the front and back halves of the pants, on the side cuts in the smaller direction, set aside the following distances: on the waist line and on the hip line 1 cm, on the knee line 0.7 cm, on the bottom line 0.5 cm. Connect with a smooth line.

The same can be done to increase the 42nd size to the 44th (the volume of the hips is 106 cm), but these distances can be placed further from the patterns of the 42nd size (then a piece of fabric with a length of 1.5 m is required). Do not use more than +/- one size!

Choice of fabric. A soft and plastic fabric that does not hold its shape is recommended. The composition can be any, for the summer season it is better to choose from natural materials.

   You will need:

• fabric with a width of 1.4 m and length: for size 38 – 1.2 m, for size 40 – 1.3 m and for size 42 – 1.4 m;
• metal zippers 16 cm or 18 cm long - 2 pcs.;
• an elastic band for a belt with a width of 5 cm and a length of 90 cm (cut to the desired size according to the length indicated on the patterns);
• an elastic band for the bottom of trousers, 3 cm wide and 70 cm long;
• a 2 cm wide metal half-ring for the back belt, needed as a decorative detail;
• threads in the color of the fabric, ordinary #100 - 4 spools and decorative #80 - 1 spool;
• doublerin tape 1 cm wide for gluing the entrance to the pocket.

    Pants production technology:

1. Processing of pockets. Duplicate the lining with a tape along the line of the entrance to the pocket. Fold the lining and the pocket face to face, fasten with a stitch at a distance of 1 cm from the edge. Bend, lay decorative stitches with #80 threads along the entrance to the pocket at a distance of 0.1 and 0.7 cm. Bend and fasten the lower edge of the lining with a stitch (see technical sketch). 2. The side and bottom sections of the patch pocket are folded and ironed, placed on the front half of the pants according to the markings on the patterns and trimmed with a decorative stitch at a distance of 0.1 and 0.7 cm from the edge. To iron

4. Processing of side sections. Sweep the side cuts on the front and back halves of the pants on the front side. Fold the front and back halves of the pants with the front sides inward, line up the cuts, combining the bottom hem lines and control marks. Sew a seam 1 cm wide to the location of the zipper.
5.  Sew the zipper open with the help of a one-sided foot at a distance from the edge of the braid equal to 1/4 of the total width of the fastener and so that the metal limiters do not reach the hem line of the bottom by 0.3 cm.
6. Processing of step and medium cuts. Sew step cuts, connecting overcuts. Sweep over the front half, iron towards the back half.
7.  Sew the middle sections to the fold line of the gulfik, aligning the bleeding seams. Sweep over the right half, iron the gulfik along the hem line on the left half. Fasten the gulfik with an auxiliary stitch along the upper cut. Lay decorative stitches along the middle seam on the left side at a distance of 0.1 and 0.7 cm and along the gusset according to the markings on the patterns.
8. Processing of the upper section with a belt. The detail of the belt cut is connected with a stitch in a circle. Cut the elastic to the desired length indicated on the patterns according to the size, but first check whether this length of the elastic band suits you. Connect it with a stitch, put one end on the other by 1.5 cm. Fold the belt in half, insert the elastic band so that it fits tightly to the fold, align the seams. Pin with hairpins, evenly distributing the folding of the fabric. Sew the sections with an auxiliary stitch at a distance of 1 cm from the edge. Fold the belt with the pants with the front sides in the middle, aligning the cuts and control marks, aligning the seam of the elastic band and the seam of the belt with the back middle seam. Sew the belt with a seam 1 cm wide, sweep from the side of the belt. Stretching, lay two decorative stitches along the waist at a distance of 1.6 cm from each other and from the edge. Make sure that the distance between them, to the edge and to the seam of the belt is the same. Adjust the buckle by inserting a half-ring, according to the markings on the patterns.
9. Finishing the bottom of the pants. Cut an elastic band with a width of 3 cm to the required length: for size 38 - 26 cm, for size 40 - 27 cm and for size 42 - 28 cm. Bend the lower section and sew it with a seam into the hem with a closed cut, inserting the elastic at intervals. To this end of the elastic, pin it with pins 1 cm from the side cut, so that the elastic band does not fall into the allowance, and evenly distribute the folding of the fabric. Hem the ends of the zipper, turn out the corners. Fasten the hem of the bottom with a stitch. Lay a decorative stitch along the perimeter of the zipper at a distance of 0.1 and 0.7 cm. Make the final wet-heat treatment.
