Description
WARNING! In the list of necessary materials, exactly those that were used to create the bomber as in the photo are specified, namely on a quilted lining and with an additional layer of sintepon. For the independent seam of the lining, a sintepon with a density of 100 g/sq.m was taken, and for an additional layer, a sintepon with a density of 100 g/sq.m was also taken. Two more tailoring options are available upon request. The first one is with a quilted lining without an additional layer of sintepon. The second one is on sintepon and on a regular lining. It should be taken into account that the total density of the synthetic material of this bomber is 100+100 g/sq.m.
You will need:
- raincoat fabric 1.4 m wide and 1.5 m long for size M and 1.6 m for size L;
- quilted lining with a width of 1.4 and a length of: for size M – 1.5 m and for size L – 1.7 m;
- lining for pockets - 0.3 m;
- sintepon with a density of 100 g/sq.m and a width of 1.4 m - 1.6 m;
- slimtex insulation for sealing the strip, putty, valves and details for sewing the binding to the bottom of the jacket - 20 cm;
- a set of double hems with a bend: for finishing the bottom of the product with a width of 15 cm - 95 cm, cuffs 2 pcs. with a width of 15 cm - 24 cm and for processing a neck with a width of 10 cm - 50 cm;
- metal zippers: for the central fastener 65 cm long - 1 pc.; for a pocket on a shelf 18 cm long - 1 pc.; for a pocket on a sleeve with a length of 12 cm - 1 piece;
- buttons - 4 pcs.;
- brand patch - 2 pcs.;
- threads in the color of the main fabric and the color of the lining, decorative threads No. 80 for deferment.
Recommendations for the selection of materials
Cloak fabric should be of medium hardness, it should not be soft. It is necessary to choose those intended for outerwear, dense enough to pull well all layers of the jacket.
Brief description of bomber manufacturing technology
- Connect the following details of the upper and synthetic fabric cut along the perimeter at a distance of 0.7 cm from the edge: shelves, back, back yoke, upper and lower parts of the sleeve.
- Make pockets with a flap and two facings on both shelves according to the markings on the patterns.
- On the left shelf, make a pocket with a zipper and two facings.
- Sew the brand label on the yoke of the back.
- Sew the yoke of the back to the back, lay two decorative stitches at a distance of 0.1 and 0.7 cm from the seam on the side of the yoke.
- Connect the shoulder seams, lay two decorative stitches at a distance of 0.1 and 0.7 cm from the seam on the side of the yoke.
- Connect the upper and lower parts of the sleeve, postpone with two stitches on the upper part.
- Sew a pocket with a zipper on the left sleeve.
- Sew the sleeves into the open armhole, lay the decorative stitches on the shelf and the back.
- Sew the seams of the sleeves and the side seams, postpone on the side of the back and the lower part of the sleeve.
- Sew the binding to the sleeves, neck and bottom of the product with an additional detail from the fabric of the top.
- Prepare a strip for the zipper and a patch, delay the strip with parallel stitches at a distance of 0.6 cm from each other over the entire surface. Sew a bar and a zipper to the bomber, then a patch.
- Sew a brand label onto the back part of the quilted lining. Gather the lining, leaving an opening in the left sleeve.
- Sew the lining to the bomber jacket, sew the hole in the left sleeve.
- Put the buttons on the pockets and pata according to the markings on the patterns;
- Make the final WTO.
